What personal data we collect through this website, why we use it, who handles it, and the choices you have.

  • We collect your name, email, company and message only when you send the contact form.
  • We use it to reply to you. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

This website is run by Trivane Tech, an IT services business based in India that works with clients remotely.

For personal data collected through this website, Trivane Tech is the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and the controller under laws such as the GDPR that may apply to visitors from other countries.

We may also disclose data to courts, regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it, or to professional advisers under a duty of confidence. If our business is ever sold or merged, your data may transfer to the new owner under the same commitments.

Transfers outside India

Our providers run systems in other countries, including the United States and Japan, so your data can be processed outside India. By submitting the contact form you accept this. We choose providers that publish security and data protection commitments, and the DPDP Act permits transfers except to countries the Indian government restricts. For visitors in the EU or UK, we rely on the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become a client: deleted 24 months after your last message.
  • If we work together: kept for the duration of the engagement and as long as tax, accounting or contract law requires afterwards.
  • Analytics data: retained in Google Analytics for 14 months or less, according to our settings there.
  • Server logs: kept by our host for a short period for security and then removed.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • get a summary of the personal data we hold and how we use it;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated;
  • have your data erased when it is no longer needed;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
  • use our grievance process, described below, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you are in the EU or UK you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any right, email legal@trivanetech.com from the address you used to contact us. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act. There is no charge.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it. For analytics, use Cookie settings in the footer and choose Decline. For your enquiry data, email legal@trivanetech.com and ask us to stop using or to delete it. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you withdrew.

Write to the grievance officer first. We will acknowledge your message within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local authority if you are outside India.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, email legal@trivanetech.com and we will delete it.

Security and breaches

Data travels over encrypted connections and enquiries are stored in a database that is closed to the public and reachable only through our server. Access is limited to the people who need it. No online service is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and its effective date. For significant changes we will also tell people who have contacted us.
